Why Vaccinate your Pet?

Vaccinations are very important and protect your pets against infectious and potentially fatal diseases.

Vaccination for Kittens and Cats
The vaccines given will depend on the lifestyle of your kitten. To give them full immunity, kittens are vaccinated at the following ages.

  • 6 – 8 weeks
  • 10 – 12 weeks
  • 14 – 16 weeks

To maintain this immunity, the kittens and cats must be vaccinated once every 12 months. The vaccines will protect the cats from three infectious diseases – Feline enteritis, Cat Flu and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

Vaccination for Puppies and Dogs

Puppies are vaccinated at the following ages to provide them with full immunity.

  • 6 – 8 weeks
  • 10 – 12 weeks
  • 14 – 16 weeks

To maintain immunity throughout their life, puppies and dogs require vaccination once every 12 months. Some components of the vaccine provide immunity for 3 years, others for only one year. Each program is tailored to the individual dog. The vaccines will protect the dogs from diseases such as Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Canine Cough.
